Fomela Motors invests $65 million in advanced filtration technology to strengthen environmental responsibility

Fomela Motors announced it will invest $65 million in new filtration technology at its production facilities, following an exhaustive independent environmental impact assessment. This decision will drastically reduce particulate emissions, reflect Fomela's commitment to operate responsibly, and reaffirm its focus on a sustainable business strategy.

Environmental audit findings

The environmental audit verified Fomela is in full compliance with current environmental regulations and legislation. It did, however, disclose that some Fomela operations produce slightly higher emission levels of particulate matter compared to other Fomela locations. Emission levels remain within all acceptable standards; however, management has elected to act in advance of any issues, resulting in an even greater environmental benefit to communities near its production sites.

Investment in filtration technology

The new filtering technology will be installed over the next six months and is expected to bring particulate emissions to negligible levels.
